Member of the month for June - Christa
Christa started her CrossFit journey with remarkable enthusiasm and joy and the best part is that those qualities still remain!
She is a living example of someone who has the mindset of a beginner and she always gets exited by learning new.
Very quickly has she become a noticeable member of our community, so eager is she to support and cheer others as well as make any new beginners feel like home with us.
Thank you Christa for your never ending enthusiasm, it is contagious!
1) First name / Age
2) What was your initial goal when you joined Stadifit?
I wanted to challenge myself and to try something new. I had been going to basic group training sessions for many years but without noticeable progress. Therefore I knew I had to do something else to improve my overall fitness level. My goal was to get a more versatile workout activating my entire body. I wanted to improve both my mobility and strength.
3) What goals have you already reached and how have you gotten where you are at now?
First of all, it was very easy to start training at StadiFit since I felt very welcomed from the beginning. I have especially enjoyed the small groups and the great sense of community. The coaches are good at pointing out how to perform exercises in the most efficient way, with a friendly touch. All of this has had a great impact on me. I have increased the amount of training sessions per week and that combined with the versatile training has resulted in a visible and tangible change in my body.
4) What are your next goals?.
I want to keep up with training on a regular basis and see how far it takes me. I'm still struggling with all the "gymnastics", so that is definitely my biggest challenge. It would be so cool to finally learn "kipping" and to be able to perform T2B and hopefully in the future even a handstand. Weightlifting is one of my favourites, so in that I want to continuously improve my personal best.
