My main goal with each client is to help them build a sustainable relationship with training;
One that allows their bodies to stay in good health and one that keeps them inspired and motivated in the long term.
These are the key ingredients that both need to be there and that both need to be kept in good balance in order for us to be able to make a successful lifestyle change.
I approach each client with their individual needs in mind; many people are stuck with trying to do more, be active, try harder….with it only resulting in injuries and pain.
Through assessing their bodies, I know exactly what their starting points are and what their bodies need in order to start feeling better and therefore responding better towards the stress we are placing on them through training.
For so long, we have been approaching training from the perspective of pushing our bodies to become something, look like something or to perform like we’d like them to, that we have forgotten that moving and training should be about us learning to cooperate with our bodies rather than about us fighting against them.
When we learn to approach training with that mindset, we learn how amazing our bodies can be when we treat them with the respect that they deserve!
A healthier body is always one that feels and performs better! Therefore sustainable training is always primarily based upon tools that our bodies need to become healthier and only secondly on the things that we want from our bodies.
