What was your initial goal when you joined Stadi Fit?

Noora:

I have had a history of coming and going from different sports to another, from yoga to dancing and kickboxing. I have always liked training but I have never really found anything motivating enough to actually keep me excited for more than 6 months. Starting with StadiFit was exciting and already after the onramp I knew I wanted to continue. It has brought me good balance between work and training - life overall.

Rasmus:

After playing football for almost my whole youth life I thought it is time to find something that would be as interesting and fun as football. I always loved training but after I stopped playing football I had a couple years break from active training. Before StadiFit I did not find anything to stick and continue doing until now. At StadiFit I have the feeling of enjoying every training even when they are hard but at the same time so much fun. StadiFit has also been a really good balance with Padel that I have now been playing. The goal was just at the beginning to try to get balance of training back and find the feeling I used to have when training football.

We both wanted to find more balance in our life and to find something to do together. After living and working in Thailand, it was time to change scuba diving into functional fitness now that we have lived here in Finland for already two years. In these both hobbies we can motivate and push each other.

What goals have you already reached and how have you gotten where you are at now?

Noora:

I have definitely found more balance and new ways to train. In my previous training I have concentrated more on the things I like and skipping parts that I don't like, for example upper body training. Couches at StadiFit have pushed me through training sessions and parts which I had otherwise skipped.

Rasmus:

I have been loving the first 3-4 months we have been here. I have learned new things and most importantly getting the feeling back again when training. I like the "pressure" from a group training even if you are only training for yourself but I feel like I can push myself much more and get the most out of myself. Coaches at the class are always helping and giving good tips on how to improve and do better.

We both have got much more overall wellbeing in our life. The mindset continues after the classes and fridge has been cleaned. :) Mobility training and daily cars has helped the most to progress.

What are your next goals?

Noora:

Now after learning the basic movements I cannot wait for the next level assessment where my goal is to level up. I was surprised how well I did in the first assessment after the onramp but now I'm sure I'm able to do even better after knowing what to expect.

Rasmus:

I'm waiting to do the next level assessment after only doing the first one on onramp where everything was still quite new. Now I have a better idea of what is coming and I want to improve on every category.

We both want to continue training even more and keep the good balance.

Keep up the good work Noora & Rasmus!
